Baker on the case

by Chris Ames posted at 2007-10-24 09:07 last modified 2007-11-07 16:11

The Daily Mail has published extracts from Norman Baker MP's book about the death of Dr David Kelly. Today's extract includes a "revelation" that

during my investigation into Dr Kelly's death, I have obtained a secret report showing just how right he was to question the Government's integrity when he spoke to Andrew Gilligan.

The Foreign Affairs Committee, which carried out the first investigation into the dossier, and interviewed Kelly, produced an analysis of the differences between Alastair Campbell's evidence to it and his and other later evidence to the Hutton Inquiry. I've done something similar here, as did Peter Oborne in his book, The Rise of Political Lying.
