Cabinet Office Freedom of Information request #2

This was a partially successful request in relation to an email sent by Godric Smith to Alastair Campbell on 12 September 2002. The main request was for information that was redacted from the copy of the email provided to the Hutton Inquiry.

The redacted text was: "Clearly John will be speaking to US." The Cabinet Office has stated that it does not have any information as to the identity of the "John" to whom this referred. It is known that both John Williams and John Scarlett were in the US at the time.

The Cabinet Office claimed to have no information regarding the other parts of the request.
