This request concerned the missing dossier draft that was circulated on the evening of 17 September 2002 or early on 18 September.

The Cabinet Office initially claimed that it was "unable to identify any information relevant to the complainant’s request" and on review stated that it did "not hold the information specified".

The Information Commissioner considered a complaint about this case and in January 2007, issued a decision notice in which it accepted "that no information falling within the scope of the request is held by the public authority."
