This request was an attempt to establish more about the draft dossier produced by John Williams on 9 September 2002. Specifally:

1. Did Mr Williams produce any drafts of the WMD Section of the dossier, either by itself or as part of a wider draft, before the 9 September draft identified above? If so, please provide any copies. (I am of course aware that the FCO originated what became Parts 2 and 3 of the dossier.)
2. Did Mr Williams produce the 9 September draft identified above following any direction or invitation from Alastair Campbell, John Scarlett, Julian Miller or the dossier drafting group? Please provide copies of relevant documents.
3. At what time on 9/10 September was the 9 September draft identified above circulated to (inter alia) No. 10? Please provide relevant copy documents, e.g. emails.
4. Did Mr Williams draft any further versions of the dossier or elements thereof after the 9 September draft identified above? If so, which ones? Please provide copies of any relevant documents.

Initially, the Foreign Office answered "No" to the first, second and fourth questions and stated that it did not have "any record of the exact time when the draft was circulated." It subsequently clarified this, stating that it did not have any information regarding this.
